The demo, which will be available completely free of charge, will feature a combination of domestic and international teams.
It will also be playable at this week's gamescom event in Cologne, Germany.
Aerial strength will play a bigger role thanks to a new physicality system, response times have been improved when dribbling, new feint moves added and prompts will appear to trigger unique celebrations.
New AI means that players will no longer have to manually initiate a one-two, while the Perfect Defence system allows defenders to immediately secure the ball and start a counter.
Goalkeepers, meanwhile, will have new parameters dictating how often they punch or catch the ball and how good they are at stopping close range shots etc.
Off the pitch, the Master League has been given a total revamp, including a new transfer system, and improved menus.
The game features new turf texture, night lighting and weather effects. The dynamic weather means that matches might start sunny but end with rain.
New animations have been added to the game, with players complaining about fouls and lamenting teammates. Furthermore, it's more likely that defenders will be caught off balance with a well timed shimmy.
myClub will introduce a new player level system, as well as exclusive players.
There are also new camera angles for a larger field of vision, as well as brand new commentators in the form of Peter Drury for UK audiences and Marco Hagemann for Germany.
PES 2016 is in development for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. It will launch on September 18.
Pre-order customers will receive Neymar in myClub, as well as a host of items and currency. A PlayStation-exclusive Anniversary Edition will ship in a steelbook case.
