Microsoft has updated the web version of Outlook in Office 365. Revamped with a new UI and other features, it is also being renamed to 'Outlook on the web' from outlook Web App or OWA. Outlook on the web now sports a simplified, cleaner UI with tweaks such as a larger subject line and more prominent buttons in the Calendar. New tools like Pin enables users to pin messages in the inbox to have it highlighted yellow and kept at the top of the inbox. 'Sweep' provides a simple set of actions to manage emails from specific senders. Quick Archive and Undo features have also been added.

In addition to cosmetic changes, the mobile browser experience has also been enhanced -- for when users need to interact with their Office 365 email without installing an app. The enhancements include updates to closer resemble the UI look of Outlook apps on Windows, Mac, iOS or Android. It features improved navigation for switching between Mail, Calendar and People. The UI has been improved for creating new events and using the scheduling assistant in Calendar.
