Fans of the racing game "Need for Speed" will have a lot to look forward to in the next few months. Aside from the new "Need for Speed" that has yet to be launched, the development team at Ghost Games and publisher Electronic Arts are planning to release also a new downloadable content this year and it's going to be big one. It will add more features that will make the game more exciting than the previous versions of the best-selling game.
In an interview with executive producer Marcus Nilsson during the Gamescom last week, he told VideoGamer.com about expansion plans for the new pack which he confirmed that Ghost Games is considering expanding the game to more than just awesome car packs.
"I want Need for Speed to modernise," he said. "I want Need for Speed to not feel like a November 3 title every year. I want it to be a game that people embrace, they keep it for longer and play it for longer, and that's something that Need for Speed needs to achieve because it's not happening right now."
Nilsson didn't divulge specific details about the content but he assured that the storyline is going to be enough to keep gamers interested, reports Latin Post.
Nilsson also explained that NFS players will need to be connected to the Internet at all times to put out mechanics that can reciprocate to their selections. There is going to be a new image sharing system which can let players take photos at particular layoffs and then share them on an internal network, with the Likes turned into currency to be used by them.
Ghost Games has not yet provided more details on the cars that will be included in the game, but it has said that they are doing their very best to ensure that they will be able to deliver the best car simulation.
Need for Speed will be available on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on Nov. 3, 2015.
